1. Plan Ahead

We recommend reaching out 6–12 months before your wedding, especially for peak dates. This gives us plenty of time to design, bake, and deliver the wedding cake of your dreams.

2. Get Inspired

Come prepared with:

  • Details of your wedding - Date / Venue / approx number of guests.
  • Your wedding theme & color palette
  • Cake styles you like (e.g., classic, rustic, glam, boho)
  • Inspiration photos or a Pinterest board

We'll take it from there to design a cake that reflects your personal style.

3. Schedule a Tasting

We offer many tasting dates throughout the year and we recommend you book into one of these at least 8 weeks before your wedding. We will need to have your flavours confirmed a minimum of 4 weeks prior to the wedding.

We offer a tasting of up to [5] flavors to choose from, no matter what size you choose for your special day. If you opt for 5 tiers or more we can also accommodate this

Tastings are €22 and are paid for on collection. Payments can also be added to your final bill if you wish.

4. How Much Cake Do You Need?

Here's a handy tip: Order cake to feed approximately 75% of your guest list. Not every guest will eat cake, many will be too busy dancing, chatting, or enjoying other desserts. This rule helps you avoid waste and keep within budget.

Example: For 100 guests, plan for 75 servings.

Want extra for the next day? Just let us know!

We can add a small side cake or extra servings so you have some to enjoy with family and friends the day after.

Please let us know if you are having a day two and if you wish to have cake for your day two celebrations.

5. Design & Final Details

Together, we’ll create a custom design tailored to your wedding.

Choose from:

  • Our menu of delicious cake flavors and fillings.
  • Buttercream, fondant, or naked cake finishes.
  • Textures, toppers, and themes.
  • Cake stands - many use stands provided by the venue but we ask you please pose this question to your coordinator so we know the size, shape and design of the stand. If you choose not to use a stand provided we can help you arrange the perfect stand for your design.
  • Fresh flowers, - please note that if you opt to have fresh flowers on your cake we will liaise with your florist so that we can ensure the flowers match your styles. We do not charge extra for this service however it is important that you communicate this with your florist as the flowers will need to be ordered for the cake and set aside for us. We can collect locally sourced flowers or your florist can leave them at the venue on

the day.

You’ll receive a quote and cake design summary via email

6. .Seasonal Considerations

Getting married in summer or an outdoor venue?

Be aware that buttercream cakes are sensitive to heat and cannot stay on display for long in direct sun or warm conditions. If your wedding is during peak summer, we’ll guide you toward the best options—like fondant finishes, shaded display areas, or later setup times—to keep your cake looking beautiful.

We always plan with the season in mind to ensure your cake arrives and holds up perfectly.

7. Reserve Your Date

To book your cake, we require:

  • A €100 non-refundable deposit
  • Final changes must be submitted 3 weeks before the wedding, and final payment is due 2 weeks prior to delivery.
  • We will keep you updated on all needed throughout the process.

8. On The Day

We coordinate with your venue or planner to deliver and set up your cake on the day.  We usually aim to deliver while your ceremony takes place so we can work away without disturbing any part of the wedding.

You do not need to worry about any cake details on the day as we will do everything for you. All delivery costs are included in your quote  Don’t forget to plan a cake-cutting moment!

This tradition not only makes for great photos, but also signals your guests it’s time for dessert.  Many photographers will bring you into the room where the cake is set up to get uninterrupted photos  of you and your cake on your special day.

A good idea is to take professional cake cutting photos prior to guests being in the room as this allows you capture the perfect shot without guests flashes going off in your shot. You can have the fun one later with your guests where you can eat the cake then and there if you wish.

9. FAQS

  • Q: How much does a wedding cake cost? Prices vary by size and design. Most couples spend between €350 and €700. We'll providea personalized quote after your consultation.
  • Q: Can I bring my own topper? Absolutely. We'll add them during setup on the big day. Just set them aside clearly and we will arrange them on the cake. Please make sure we are aware of this prior to your big day.
  • Q: Can I save some cake for the next day? Yes! Just let us know. Please also communicate this with your venue so that it is stored correctly and the adequate amount is sat aside.
  • Q: A family member wants to make part of the cake. Can you include this in the same cake? Unfortunately no, we provide certification to the venue for the work that is prepared in our kitchen. We cannot certify cakes that are made outside of our kitchen. If you wish to include some cake made by family it can be displayed alongside your wedding cake. Please posethe question to your venue as different venues have different rules about this.
